Volunteers are the backbone of Community Share. We rely on the many talented and diverse individuals who dedicate their time and skills to our programs. We could use drivers, pantry assistants, food stockers and receivers.
We Are Hiring!
Manager
We are looking for a full-time manager to run our operation in Minden, Ontario. This position requires an individual with:
- Proven experience in nonprofit or community leadership, ideally in food insecurity or social services
- Strong management, organizational, decision-making and customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills and familiarity with social media
- Ability to navigate difficult situations and provide guidance as needed relating to visitors, staff, volunteers
- Ability to multitask, delegate, and work under pressure at certain times
- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A commitment to equity, inclusion, and community development
